Mark joined the Performance Services team in 2018. Formerly, he was working for Pridemark Construction, a general contractor in Muncie, Indiana, as a project manager and estimator. He also worked for Shook Construction in Indianapolis for nearly 24 years. During his tenure with Shook, he held several positions including project engineer, project manager, project director, vice president, and market channel leader. He oversaw all phases of the design and construction process, including planning, pre-construction, and construction services.
Mark has experience in industrial, higher education, retail, healthcare, water resources, correctional, and data/communication centers. He has constructed projects using several different project delivery methods including design-bid-build, design-build, and construction manager at risk. His preferred delivery method is design-build because he feels it offers the best value solution for the client. While working on projects, Mark specializes in creating positive work environments, motivating individuals to meet diverse schedules, keeping costs under control, and ensuring a high-quality outcome.
Mark and his wife have three children and they live in Indiana. Mark is a lifelong Colts and Reds fan. He loves cars and enjoys attending car shows and working on restoring his 79 Anniversary Trans Am. Mark also loves spending time with family and friends on the weekends.
