Kevin Baum has covered a lot of ground during his career as a mechanical engineer. With 24 years of experience creating and managing unique solutions for building systems, Kevin has focused on the assessment and design of HVAC, heat recovery and industrial systems for a variety of markets including K-12 schools, universities, healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, commercial and government buildings.
He joined Performance Services in 2005 as an energy engineer to have the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial and team-based environment and one in which he would have ownership of his design from concept to commissioning. When not at work, Kevin is still covering a lot of ground—as an avid cyclist. He first started racing at the age of 13 and notes Grand Junction Colorado as his fondest race event to date.
With the smart use of energy always in mind, Kevin rides his bike to work whenever he can and enjoys weekend road trips with his wife, Eugenie.
