Jim joined the Performance Services in 2018 and is responsible for inspecting and diagnosing issues related to the building envelope as well as designing repairs and/or replacing building envelope related components (i.e. roof replacement). Two years ago, Jim started his own building envelope and hardscape consulting company, specializing in education facilities. He has worked on several Performance Services projects to date and enjoyed working with the team enough to join it! The previous twenty-nine years, Jim was employed at INSPEC, Inc. and SRI Consultants, Inc. For most of the 31 years, Jim was a senior project manager in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. He has worked on a variety of K-12 schools, The University of Chicago, a variety of food distribution centers, and churches. He has also used his skills with thermography cameras to locate moisture and thermal leaks in the envelopes of buildings.
He and his wife of almost 19 years have four children. Since moving to Milwaukee in 1994, he has become a Packers and Brewers fan. He loves sports and lately has been into fishing and golf.
