Allen joined Performance Services in 2002 as a Sr. Performance Assurance Engineer and is responsible for optimizing building automation systems in Indiana and Illinois schools. Allen sees system optimization as a vital ingredient to the success of Performance Services performance guarantees. The process involves integrating the HVAC equipment and controls system to maximize efficiency of the equipment while maintaining a comfortable and optimal learning environment, thereby creating a high performance building.
With a career dedicated to HVAC technology and building automation control systems prior to Performance Services, Allen spent 20 years with Siemens Building Technologies and served in a variety of roles including performance engineering, project management, team leader, operations supervisor and engineering specialist.
Allen is well versed with multiple controls platforms including Alerton, Automated Logic, Distech, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Staefa, Trane and Tridium. He also facilitates the creation of graphical interface displays for clients.
