Brendan joined the Performance Services team in 2023. He has a mechanical engineering background and eight years of experience in technical aspects of engineering, project management, consulting, and sales. He has over 135 MW of experience in the Commercial and Industrial Solar Industry, which involved rooftop, ground-mounted, tracker, battery, generator, and off-grid technologies. He has worked with utilities, federal and state governments, municipalities, educational institutions, and commercial and industrial organizations across the country, including but not limited to the following states: California, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois, Rhode Island, Indiana, and New York. He is passionate about creating lasting relationships and delivering valuable distributed generation projects to clients.
Brendan holds dual degrees in mechanical engineering and economics from the University of Notre Dame. He was a leader in his senior design project in a successful “assisted printing device” to allow individuals with handicaps to partake in artwork. He led the team in the design and creation of the device, which was subsequently donated to a special needs daycare, highlighting a passion for philanthropy and leaving the world a better place. He was first drawn to solar engineering as a way to protect the environment. He had previously volunteered at Monterey Bay’s Aquarium, which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of wildlife on an Earth faced with global warming.
Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors. He also enjoys cooking meals and learning new recipes.
