Bobby Ashley is a retired school superintendent from the Blytheville School District in Blytheville, Arkansas. He has served 39 years in education. He was a history teacher/girls’ basketball coach for 13 years, where he won a state championship in 1987 at Turrell High School. Then the next 26 years, he served as a principal and then superintendent of the McGehee, Boonville, then Blytheville School Districts. During Bobby’s career, he served on a number of state committees aimed at guiding curriculum, standards, and guidelines for day-to-day learning in Arkansas Schools. He was been happily married to Karen for 37 years and has two daughters, Alden and Reed. He has one granddaughter, Avery, who is the apple of his eye. He is loving this next phase of life working with Performance Services and being able to continue to make connections with school superintendents across the state and talk to them about what we have to offer them.
