David joined the Performance Services team in 2018. He has over 20 years of experience and specializes in working with Kentucky public school districts to leverage the streamlined Design-Build construction process and the funding advantages of Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract (GESC) projects. Design-Build is a design-to-budget, best-value approach for renovations, additions and new construction. It is faster, provides more control for the owner, and offers better results with no change orders. GESC projects enable districts to save money, fix facility problems, and improve the learning environment.
David leads the Kentucky team and collaborates with the client throughout the entire process, from initial discovery to project development. This also includes assisting with Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) requirements. He transitions to a supporting role during construction to ensure projects are implemented and complete client satisfaction is achieved. Recent Kentucky projects include Covington IPS, Fairview ISD, Berea ISD, Livingston County Schools, Nicholas County Schools, Clark County Public Schools, Garrard County Schools, Ballard County Schools, Grant County Schools and Marshall County Schools.
David has held his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification since 2005.
