Performance Services specializes in creating and delivering high-performance buildings for education and local governments. We work with Colorado clients to design solutions that save energy and optimize the indoor environment based on exacting criteria (ASHRAE standards or better). Lastly, our team of performance assurance specialists provides four-season optimization monitoring to ensure project guarantees are met or exceeded, and the facilities are operating as promised.

Facilities Assessments

Before beginning an infrastructure-related renovation project, the first critical step is to conduct a preliminary facility condition and energy assessment to identify how facilities are currently operating, identify issues, and provide a blueprint for future improvements. Once the evaluation is completed, clients have a defined roadmap for planning renovation projects. If you choose to proceed with a project, our team designs and constructs your project from start to finish.

Energy Savings Performance Contracts

Performance contracting is a flexible funding mechanism that allows Colorado K-12 schools and cities/towns to implement facility improvements and address deferred maintenance by using energy savings to pay for the improvements. As a result, no upfront capital is required, as the projects are financed and repaid with guaranteed energy and efficiency savings.

Design-Build Construction

Design-build construction is an integrated procurement option for capital improvement projects in which a single entity, working under one contract, performs the project’s design and construction. Because there is only one contract, the risk of messy renovations is diminished, as the design-builder is solely responsible for the project. Benefits include reduced owner risk, high-quality outcomes, on-time completion, and cost efficiencies.

Energy Leadership is a cash-flow positive energy conservation program designed to fund facility needs from current energy expenditures with sustainability in mind. The behavior-based program yields significant energy savings as a tangible and immediate reward. The program is designed to engage student leaders and staff to help conserve energy.
