ESSER II Project
In early 2021, Milwaukee Public Schools sought a partner for implementing district-wide facility improvements with its ESSER II funding. After a competitive RFP process, Performance Services was selected to partner with the district to identify needs and recommend improvements for the learning environment at 29 district buildings. After selection, our team initiated a complex project development process that included assessing the needs of each building and preparing scope and budget analyses. The improvements focused on modernizing the building and optimizing the indoor learning environment for students and staff. The final scope for this phase includes mechanical and plumbing improvements, controls upgrades, test and balance work, outdoor classrooms, carpeting replacements, and window screen installations. The work began in February 2022 and is expected to be completed in December 2023.
