Project Description
The School District of New Berlin utilized a no-cost Preliminary Energy Study from
Performance Services that identified detailed projects and associated energy saving opportunities. With the requirement of transparent, open book pricing and high quality, durable and easily maintained systems, the school district completed a project with Performance Services to upgrade the mechanical systems and lighting in their district schools. The main priority was to provide every classroom with an optimal environment conducive to learning and to positively impact every student, teacher and staff member in the district, utilizing a best value project approach.
Multiple phases of parallel contractor (HVAC, ceiling demo, tile abatement, tile installation, electrical, insulation) work schedules were completed to accomplish this project during school with minimum disruption to the school day. Classrooms feature new vertical unit ventilators.
