Project Description
South Vermillion had experience working with Performance Services on several successful guaranteed energy savings projects and needed to complete a major renovation project in two phases in 2015. The school selected the design-build delivery method because of their confidence that the same level of quality with open-book, transparent pricing and a no change order guarantee would apply.
Project Highlights
Phase I
- Auditorium Remodel with new seating, flooring, soundboard, lighting, and projector
- Science Wing Renovation
- New science casework, fume hoods, and lab gas installation
- Gym Bleachers
- Secure entryways in each school building
Phase II
- Replacement of tennis courts and fencing
- Replacement of outdoor track and fencing
- New roof overlay on the high school building
Phase III
- New sodded competitive soccer field
- New lighting, bleachers, and concessions building
- Multiple new soccer and football practice fields
Phase IV
- Addition of new auxiliary gym
- Addition of support spaces including new restrooms, locker rooms, concessions, and a community fitness room
