Matt joined the Performance Services team in 2020 and has 39 years of experience in the design and construction industry. His career includes various leadership roles in engineering, engineering management, project management, operations management, and general management at local, regional, and company levels.
As Chief Operating Officer at Performance Services, Matt leads the design-build, engineering, and operations departments. During his tenure, he has overseen the growth of the design-build department from 8 staff members in 2020 to 24 in 2023 and restructured the pre-construction department to include two full-time estimators. Additionally, he expanded the national team by adding design and construction staff to support design-build growth in new states. He has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of our design-build team as we expand our offering in new markets.
In addition to team growth and structure, Matt has been instrumental in rolling out various new technologies and processes. He led an initiative for a transition to utilizing Revit/BIM software in both architectural and MEP drawing production and increased usage during implementation and construction. Further, he established a quarterly reporting process to track construction material cost escalation and other associated construction cost factors to ensure our projects remain on budget.
Matt and his wife have two sons. He is a huge Green Bay Packers fan and has been fortunate to hold season tickets for many years. Matt loves sports, music, movies, and walking with his two labradoodles.
