Bill joined Performance Services in April 2025 after a distinguished 39-year career in public education, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to student success. His journey began as a high school math teacher and coach, later transitioning into administration as an assistant principal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He went on to serve as a high school principal in McNairy County, Tennessee, before taking on the role of superintendent—a position he held for 25 years, primarily in Middle Tennessee’s Lawrence and Lincoln Counties.
Throughout his tenure as superintendent, Bill was recognized for his leadership and service at both the state and national levels. He served as a board member and president of the Tennessee Organization of School Superintendents (TOSS) and represented Tennessee for three years on the board of the American Association of School Administrators (AASA). His peers honored him multiple times as Core Region Superintendent of the Year, and he was named Tennessee Superintendent of the Year by the Professional Educators of Tennessee.
Bill also brings significant expertise in facilities and capital project planning, having overseen a wide variety of construction and renovation initiatives—from classroom additions and roofing upgrades to the construction of new schools. His practical knowledge of school operations, funding, and infrastructure makes him a valuable resource to districts seeking strategic and sustainable solutions.
Throughout his entire career, Bill has been passionate about aligning school system resources with its mission—ensuring every decision supports improved outcomes for all students. This passion continues in his role as an educational consultant.
