A Strategic Approach to Immediate Needs
Brinkley Public Schools knew they faced significant facility challenges. The District’s buildings were aging, and its HVAC systems were inefficient. An assessment in the spring of 2021 confirmed the extent of their needs. A year later, in 2022, the District received ESSER funding and was ready to move forward with an energy savings performance contract project to address the most immediate need: failing HVAC systems at several school buildings.
The district needed a solution that would improve indoor air quality and meet ESSER requirements, all while being cost-effective. We worked closely with the district to identify the best HVAC solution that met ESSER funding guidelines while still delivering the necessary improvements in indoor air quality. Additionally, roofing work was completed at the elementary school to address immediate water infiltration concerns.
The improvements provided students and staff with a more comfortable learning environment while aligning with the district’s long-term facility plans. The roofing updates at the elementary school ensured that students had safe, weather-protected learning spaces.
