Project Description

The City of Livingston was struggling with high pumping costs due to the 19-mile distance between the river and the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). To address this issue and improve efficiency, the city enlisted Performance Services to build a new SCADA system at the WWTP and install a large solar PV array along the Cumberland River. The project expanded to include overall energy efficiency improvements and efforts to reduce unaccounted water loss through drone leak detection and acoustic leak detection. The 48,900 sq ft project also involved the installation of LED lighting, programmable thermostats, and new VFDs.
